Charles J.Burger

CJ is a founding member and managing partner of Summit. At Summit, CJ is responsible for overseeing the marketing function of the firm, including managing the originations team.

Prior to Summit’s inception, CJ was the managing director of the Special Assets group at Republic Financial Corporation, a privately held firm in Denver, Colorado. Prior to Republic, CJ was with Fleet Bank in Rhode Island and Coopers & Lybrand in New York.

CJ holds a B.S. in Accounting from New York University and is a past board member of the Colorado Turnaround Management Association (TMA). CJ is married with six children and lives in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
